Las Vegas after work splits two ways: the Strip, the Las Vegas Boulevard corridor of steakhouses, mall Mexican rooms, and Italian bars with tiered boards — or Downtown, the Fremont Street core of seafood rooms and old-core counters. Same town, different night. Here is how the cited windows compare.

The Strip: the tiered board

STK Las Vegas (3708 Las Vegas Boulevard South, inside The Cosmopolitan) posts daily 2:30–5:30 PM, bar and bistro only: $7 food, $12 specialty cocktails, $10 wines, and $5 Michelob Ultra and Stella Artois, with a 4oz filet $29 at the top of the board. At Fashion Show Mall, El Segundo Sol posts Sunday–Thursday 3–6 PM in the bar: chicken tinga or barbacoa tostada $5.00, loaded fries $7.00, spicy shrimp ceviche $8.00, steak or shrimp mini fajita $12.00, and margaritas $6.50. At the Forum Shops, RPM Italian Las Vegas posts weekdays 3–5 PM in the bar: cicchetti $8 each, signature cocktails $8 each, a Classic Martini dirty or espresso $12, and wines by the glass $8. The Strip is the district for a structured hour: short clocks, printed bands, bar seats only.

Downtown: the Fremont ticket

Downtown runs simpler. Chart House Las Vegas (129 East Fremont St, in the Golden Nugget) posts Monday–Friday 4–6 PM: $8 lettuce wraps, tempura green beans, and seared ahi nachos; $10 kim chee calamari, coconut crunchy shrimp, and firecracker shrimp; $12 prime rib sliders, fish tacos, and Baja shrimp cocktail; $10 premium glass wines; $8 premium spirits; $9 cocktails; and $6 beer bottles. One board, one clock, seafood across it. Fremont is the play for a seated hour without the Boulevard markup.

The call

One structured afternoon: the Strip — STK at 2:30, El Segundo Sol's $6.50 margaritas by 3, RPM's $8 bar hour before 5. One seated seafood hour: Downtown — Chart House at 4 on Fremont. Check On now before crossing town; the Strip clocks start earlier and end sharper. All windows above come from the venues' own pages — full cards on Deals.
